Free Mini Sessions ROCKED!

The YMCA scholarship fundraiser is in full swing here at Cindi with an eye! Last weekend I met with these families and created some amazing images. All my time and talent was donated, even a portion of the print sales will go to the cause. I will be working hard on the galleries but couldn't resist a HUGE schneaky peaky post!

On Sunday, April 25th I will have one more day of mini sessions... I have a couple of time slots open. The sessions are no charge, so no excuses people.   Call me. 598-0271!

My next door neighbor Willie

My newest friend Willie is super cute and his breed serves a very important purpose. Check out this site for more information how Capuchin Monkeys are being trained to assist physically hanicapped humans! HELPING HANDS Bananas huh?! You can even donate to the cause, I think it's amazing and innovative.

Square foot Garden

Spring is here and so is gardening. Something about dirty toes and nails that is so pleasant to me, with garden soil that is.

It's my third year growing my own garden. It all began when the girls wanted to grow food ("not eat it, just grow it Mommy") So we planted every crop known to man and had a surplus of veggies. We also had alot of rotten plants with way too much rain. The next year we read, studied and planted with some planning. Our garden was still way to huge but it was organized and much easier to weed and maintain. This year is the best so far. We went for the minimalist approach. Two tomato plants, one pepper, a hanging basket of strawberries and a simple herb garden.  FINALLY garden bliss....

Then I am visiting a client on her vast farm and I see the light at the end of the tunnel, the glory of all gardens. THE SQUARE FOOT GARDEN!  Ugghhh, how come I never find out until its too late. Now next years' garden will have to be the square foot garden.

He is Risen

He is Risen, He is Risen Indeed! The basis for my entire religion is in this statement!
I am proud to shout from the mountain top that I am a child of God. Hope you enjoy these images captured last week at a First Holy Communion. Brother and sister received this rite together and I was so honored to be there and capture some images of this important step in the right direction.
