How to catch eight people at once?

SO the question of the day is how to catch eight people at once? Well it isn't easy! Photoshop is very helpful, however my best advice for a large group is spend some time getting to know your subjects. Talk to them prior to the shoot, know their names by heart, make them feel at ease, tell them what is going to happen and how long it will take. Then joke with them, say something silly, have fun, did I mention HAVE FUN! My approach to photography is to capture the family as they are. How can that be done if they are posed like manequins? Last ditch effort, bribe two year olds with marshmallows (inside joke) hehe
