You're a turkey!

WOW its already December? Crazy as a turkey! So let's remember to not be crazy...take your time it's no big deal. Talk nice to your children, they aren't your enemy. Be proud of yourself, and take time to pat yourself on the back for what you accomplished, not what you didn't get done on the "to do list"

OK? Main idea...DON'T BE A TURKEY! Just EAT one!

Bouncing Light

Photo Tip: When shooting in the shadows use a reflective object to bounce some of your available light back on to your subject's face. You can use your car's sunshield. Just be careful to aim well and not irritate your subject!

Life Tip: Try to see the "light" inside everyone, even the grumpy lady at the supermarket! Smile next time, you'll be surprised what you receive in return.

Come Together Fashion Show

What a fashionable afternoon and for such a good cause.
The first annual "Come Together" Fashion Show to benefit Interfaith was a huge success! You can check out the photos in the event gallery.

A big thank you to all of the people to stop by "the high fashion photo spot." I had so much fun meeting new faces and capturing their beauty.

Veterans Day

Taken at the Veterans park off of Ft.King. This photo represents to me a light inside all of us. All Americans have such a bright future because of the sacrifice Americans have given for our freedom. Don't take this opportunity for granted. Use your talents, and your freedom in a constructive and contributing way! Live your life as an American should!

Kids photo tip

Photo tip: When capturing kids let them do what they want, not what you want. The final result is more relaxed and natural. Set them up for success by giving them something to climb, or hold. Be sure that the prop doesn't take away from the natural beauty of the child.

Good luck! Happy clicking!!

Kiss kiss

Kiss your children. Kiss someone you love.

Why? why not! Life is so brief...I lost a high school classmate (33 yrs old) this week. A father, a husband, a son. RIP Brad Wilkerson Why not kiss someone and tell them you love them and capture the moment on film.

Cherish the moment...and you will never forget the love.

Fall Festival 2008

Thanks to all the people that came out to the downtown square on Sat. to support the Boys and Girls Club and to see my work! Wow what an amazing group of people. Check out the images in the event gallery.

A special thank you to my parents Chris and Sally. You know, as a parent, I want the best for my girls and I know I will do well since I have been provided the best example of unselfish love and support from my own parents!

My baby growing up

I think back to the day she was born. Four years now...time flies.

Take the time to look at your children. Really look, watch them sleep and breathe, watch them learn something new. See the wonder in their eyes. Watch them struggle to do something you could do for them, and then watch the joy of them doing it ALL alone. Watch them, and don't forget to snap a few pictures of all of this magic. It will be gone in the blink of an eye.

Introducing Mini Me

So she's done. Mini-me. Actually she stands at about 8 feet tall so there's nothing mini about her! Downtown on Sat. 3-8 pm I am a sponsor for an event to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Marion County!
I'll be taking photos so I hope that there is a good turn out. Symphony will be dancing at 5pm also. She's in tap class and they are putting on a performance.

Blogging is it for me?

Never thought it would happen I AM BLOGGING! I'm not sure that I truly understand the point of blogging. However I used to write in a journal and it was so peaceful so I guess this could become quite the same thing.

Its me Cindi with an eye, actually two. I am very excited to be living out my dream of becoming a respected photographer. I didn't think it would happen five years ago but in the past six months I have been filled with hope. Thank you to all my fans! You ROCK!
